ClassACT HRX8 supports Current Initiatives — independent nonprofit efforts founded, sponsored, or championed by classmates, where targeted alumni expertise, relationships, and practical guidance can help strengthen their impact.
These initiatives already exist and are doing meaningful work. HRX8’s role is to help connect them with classmates and Harvard alumni whose experience, judgment, relationships, and practical skills can advance their work.
HRX8 does not own, govern, or manage these initiatives. Leadership of these initiatives remains with the sponsoring organization. HRX8’s role is to strengthen the work by leveraging its network’s resources.

Support may include strategic guidance, governance and board development, professional expertise, introductions to potential partners or advisors, communications support, increased visibility, network-building, and practical assistance for growth and sustainability.
The core idea is simple: connect people doing meaningful work with classmates and alumni who can help.
