BIDII YETU — NO LIMITS

Advancing disability inclusion through cycling, sport, and cross-community collaboration.

Bidii Yetu — No Limits is a nonprofit that promotes disability-inclusive cycling across Africa and strengthens ties among disabled persons’ organizations, sports and recreational groups, and international partners.

Its work advances inclusion, mobility, dignity, and opportunity through adaptive cycling and community participation.

What It Does

Bidii Yetu — No Limits brings together adaptive and able-bodied cyclists, disability organizations, sports and recreational groups, and international partners.

Its work includes inclusive cycling events, support for African disability organizations, awareness-raising, and efforts to help local groups develop their own disability-inclusive cycling programs.

In 2023, Bidii Yetu completed a cross-Africa handcycle journey from Namibia to Mozambique, covering more than 2,300 kilometers over 39 days and building connections with disability organizations and cycling groups across multiple African countries.

Why It Matters

People with disabilities often encounter barriers to mobility, recreation, visibility, and full participation in community life.

Disability-inclusive cycling can open pathways to confidence, health, connection, advocacy, and broader social inclusion. Bidii Yetu uses sport not only as recreation but also as a practical way to challenge assumptions, build community, and expand opportunity.

HRX8 Connection

Bidii Yetu — No Limits comes to HRX8 through a classmate working to advance disability inclusion through sport.

It is a strong fit for alumni with experience in international development, disability advocacy, adaptive sports, nonprofit strategy, communications, fundraising, partnerships, and organizational growth.

Current Opportunity

Bidii Yetu — No Limits is building on its 2023 cross-Africa journey and preparing for its next phase of work, including the 2026 inclusive cycling event in Botswana. The organization is seeking cyclists, fundraising support, program partners, visibility, and assistance in developing a model that disability organizations and cycling groups across Africa can adapt for future events.

Alumni can contribute through strategic development, promotion, social media, fundraising, regional partnerships, adaptive sports connections, disability advocacy, and introductions to organizations or individuals interested in inclusive recreation and sport.
